£1.6m in lotto prizes unclaimed on Tyneside
Lottery hopefuls on Tyneside are urged to check their tickets after organisers revealed two prizes totalling £1.6m were yet to be claimed.
The £1.5m winning ticket was bought on South Tyneside, the other in Newcastle.
If no-one comes forward the prize money will go to charity.
It will go to the Good Causes charity which has raised £24bn through sales of lottery tickets since The National Lottery started in November 1994.
Winning numbers for the £1.5m jackpot for the 27 March 2010 draw, were 6, 11, 15, 32, 38 and 42, bonus ball 24. The ticket-holder has until 1730 BST on 23 September to come forward.
Winning numbers for the £81,698 prize for the 13 February draw, were 16, 22, 24, 30, 39, 44 and the bonus ball was 9. The ticket-holder has until 1730 BST on 23 September to claim the prize.
