Eight new performers have joined the West End run of “White Rabbit Red Rabbit” at London’s Duchess Theatre, with Christopher Eccleston, Mel Giedroyc, Steve Pemberton, Munya Chawawa, Nish Kumar, Adam Buxton, John Bradley and Ginger Johnson added to the Monday-evening residency running until Nov. 2.

Chawawa takes the stage on Aug. 3; Johnson on Aug. 10; Giedroyc on Aug. 24; Buxton on Sept. 7; Eccleston on Sept. 28; Pemberton on Oct. 5; Kumar on Oct. 19; and Bradley on Oct. 26. Two dates have also shifted: David Harewood moves to Aug. 17, while Riz Ahmed is newly dated for Oct. 12.

Lucian Msamati, David Tennant and Jo Joyner have already performed since the run opened June 8. Still to come are Asim Chaudhry on June 29, Luke Thompson on July 6, Jodie Whittaker on July 13, Kathryn Hunter on July 20, Kunal Nayyar on July 27 and Archie Madekwe on Sept. 21.

The production, There & Then’s inaugural staging, places a different performer onstage each week to read from a previously unseen script without preparation or directorial input. Nassim Soleimanpour wrote the play while barred from leaving Iran; since its 2011 premiere it has logged over 4,000 performances across more than 25 languages.

There & Then was founded in 2026 by Soleimanpour and director Omar Elerian, whose decade-long collaboration includes “Echo” at the Royal Court Theatre and “Nassim” at the Bush Theatre. The company, which also counts executive producer Roz Coleman and producing advisor Malú Ansaldo among its core team, plans to work with artists and communities internationally at varying career stages. The Duchess Theatre run is cast by Matilda James CDG.
