With Season 2 of his Prime Video series, Benito Skinner is putting in some onscreen double duty.

On Saturday, the Overcompensating creator and star teased to Deadline that “something sinister” is in store for the collegiate comedy series, in which he reprises his starring role as Benny, in addition to another mysterious role.

I do play two characters this season,” said Skinner at Prime Video’s Obsessed Fest. “Yeah, there’s something coming, something sinister.”

Inspired by his journey to coming out of the closet as a college jock, Skinner’s semi-autobiographical series was renewed for Season 2 at Prime Video in September.

With Holmes upped to series regular as hilarious party girl Hailee, Season 2 guest appearances include Tom Francis as Declan Bishop, Aisha Dee as Naomi and AnnaSophia Robb as Chels.
