After the end of World War Two 50 years ago, Yehudi Menuhin became the first foreign artist to appear in Moscow, and soon thereafter visited war-ravaged locales in France, Holland and Czechoslovakia as well as refugee camps in Germany. We'll hear him in a visit he made to Warsaw last year, conducting the Warsaw Sinfonia in the "Coriolan" Overture by Beethoven. (Polish Radio/European Broadcasting Union)
