Nursing homes across the country serve as a place for aging people to be cared for with dignity. More than medical facilities, these are homes where families can trust that their loved ones are safe and getting the best possible care.

Deciding which nursing home is the best option can be difficult, with 15,300 nursing homes and over 1.6 million licensed beds in the United States to choose from, according to the data from the CDC. This is why Newsweek and Statista are pleased to have the opportunity for the sixth year to evaluate America's Best Nursing Homes for 2027.

Last year's list evaluated the top 1,200 facilities across the United States with the highest number of facilities. This year, we aim to provide the same thorough evaluation of this important industry.
