The antisemitic nutjob who stormed a Manhattan synagogue during Shabbat and ambushed two people told police his outburst was religiously motivated — as feds charged the madman Tuesday with hate crimes.

Larry Montes, 46, made the chilling confession after his arrest for the hate-filled attack inside Central Synagogue in Midtown Manhattan on Aug. 14, admitting to cops that the assault was “a racial thing” and “all religious motivated,” prosecutors said.

Montes’ rant to cops also included antisemitic and anti-Israel statements, including telling them “f— the Jews.”

“I will never affiliate with no filthy f—ing synagogues, either here or in f—ing Israel,” he raged.

“An attack on a house of worship is an attack on the fundamental right to practice one’s faith safely,” Jamie McDonald, US attorney for the Southern District of New York, said in a statement.

Montes’ onslaught began at the beginning of a Shabbat service around 6 p.m., when the creep began shouting obscenities that stunned the nearly 375 congregants, according to the complaint.

Montes launched toward the temple’s pulpit, knocking over two candlesticks, according to the complaint.

The synagogue’s head of security then rushed to restrain the madman, who screamed “I don’t f— with you people” — and socked a woman in her 60s in the face knocking her to the floor.

The security guard dragged Montes to the front of the synagogue, where an NYPD officer cuffed the crazed loon, the complaint reads.

But prosecutors said even while Montes was restrained, he continued to spew hate.

While cuffed, Montes screamed “f— you [n-word]” at a black man in the synagogue, before spitting in his face and headbutting him, according to the complaint.

The manaic also threated worshippers that he planned to return at a later date, as cops rushed him out of the synagogue.

Montes is charged with two counts of committing hate crimes and one count of damage to religious property resulting in bodily injury.

If convicted on all counts, Montes could face up to 40 years in state prison.

“[O]ur Office will work tirelessly to ensure the defendant is held fully accountable as we continue to protect all communities from hate‑driven violence,” McDonald added.
