His other notable opening-day figures include 'Raaz 3' (2012), which opened at Rs 10.47 crore net, and 'Raaz Reboot' (2016), which earned Rs 5.30 crore net.With an estimated Rs 21 crore Day 1 collection, 'Awarapan 2' has comfortably surpassed these figures to become Hashmi’s highest-grossing film on its opening day.The film’s performance is particularly notable given that its advance bookings had generated an estimated Rs 11.36 crore, including blocked seats, ahead of release.
