A thief made off with crisps, chocolate and cans of drink after breaking into a cafe in Hampshire.

The man got into the New Horizon Catering Company in Priestly Road, Basingstoke, at about 2215 BST on Monday.

Police said the man helped himself to 30 cans of drink, 15 packets of crisps and 15 chocolate bars.

The suspect, who was carrying a rucksack, is described as 6ft tall, thin and aged 20 to 25.

He was wearing light-coloured clothing and a hooded top with the hood up.
