Body found on rocks in Bristol 'not suspicious'

The discovery of a body on the A4 Portway in Bristol is no longer being treated as suspicious.

The unidentified body was discovered mid morning on Sunday on an area known locally as Black Rocks above the A4 Portway road.

A climber sparked the police probe after finding the body. The sex of the deceased person has not been released.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesman said the matter had now been passed on to the coroner.
