Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are moving back to the UK within days, with their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet set to attend UK schools. However, while we know they will call Britain home again, the location of where they will live has not been confirmed.

So far, it has been reported that the family won’t live at a royal residence and will instead live at a private home. This home is believed to be outside of London. Now, a popular bookmaker has revealed the two counties Harry and Meghan are most likely to reside in.

William Hill quote 3/1 (25% implied chance) for the couple to settle in Oxfordshire, with the same price for them to live in Gloucestershire. These two popular counties are both in The Cotswolds area, which is popular among other royals and A-listers. This includes Princess Beatrice, who has a home in the area.

Lee Phelps, spokesperson for William Hill, said: “Harry and Meghan have finally announced their long-term return to the United Kingdom and the question on everyone’s lips is where they will eventually settle down.

“We’re siding with the Cotswolds as their likeliest destination, with Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire the 3/1 joint-favourites to be their home county.

“Also in the mix is Wiltshire at 6/1, along with Berkshire (7/1) and Northamptonshire (9/1) also viable options given the news that they won’t be housed in royal residence outside London. Surrey is priced at 12/1, while a return to Harry’s county of dukedom is a 14/1 chance.”

It is believed the location the family-of-four move to will not be made public for security and privacy reasons. It is also believed that the name of the school Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, will attend will be kept private.

Harry and Meghan themselves are yet to comment on their return to the UK or their reasons for this. They have spent the last six years since quitting royal life living in Montecito, California.

It is understood the family will keep their Montecito home, as well as their holiday home in Portugal.
