Boy, 15 stabbed in south London 'unprovoked attack'
A 15-year-old boy has been stabbed in south London, prompting a police appeal for witnesses.
Officers were called to reports of an assault on Wandsworth Road in South Lambeth at 2235 BST last Thursday.
Emergency services found the boy with a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to a south London hospital and his condition is stable.
Police believe the attack was unprovoked, involving a number of males. No arrests have been made.
Det Sgt Simon Andrews said: "We understand there were members of the public still using restaurants and pubs in the area and passers-by may have seen something of the incident.
"We are urgently appealing for anyone who has not yet spoken with police to come forward."
