A 20-year-old man has admitted killing his younger brother who was stabbed at a house in Bradford.

Daniel Taylor, of Richardson Avenue, Bradford, admitted killing nine-year-old Jack Taylor but denied a charge of murder at the city's crown court.

Prosecutors said the Crown did not accept his guilty plea to manslaughter. A preliminary trial date has been set for 13 September.

Jack died after being stabbed at a house on Rookes Avenue on 18 February.

Mr Taylor, who appeared at the court on Friday, also denied wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm after his sister suffered injuries.
