Flights in and out of East Midlands Airport were disrupted after a burst tyre on a small aircraft caused the runway to be blocked.

The incident, which happened just after 1400 BST, also led to some delays to outbound flights.
A spokeswoman said the the runway was now cleared and passengers were advised to check in as normal.
