Coronation Street fans will be able to view two possible verdicts to the Gail McIntyre murder trial online before the real outcome is broadcast on TV.

The two outcomes - which see the jury delivering both a guilty and not guilty verdict - have been shot to keep the real storyline a secret.

Gail, played by Helen Worth, is falsely accused of killing husband Joe (Reece Dinsdale).

Viewers will learn the actual fate of the character on 7 June.

A preview of both endings will be made available on the Coronation Street website from 2130 BST on 3 June.

Fans have already seen Tracy Barlow - who is in jail for murder - tell the court that Gail confessed to the crime while they were sharing a cell.

Gail was falsely accused of murder when the body of her husband Joe was uncovered in water close to a place they had been staying in.

She had failed to report his disappearance as he had previously told her his plan to fake his death and cash in on the insurance money.
