The woman, from Westerham, Kent, was on the A271 North Trade Road, near Battle, on Friday, when the collision happened.
Sussex Police said she was taken to the Conquest Hospital in Hastings where she died from her injuries a few hours later.
The 58-year-old driver of the Ford Transit van, from St Leonards, was uninjured.
