Cyclist dies following road crash

A cyclist has died from her injuries following a crash in Surrey.

Surrey Police said the woman, who has not yet been identified, collided with another vehicle as she attempted to turn right on A3100 Meadrow in Farncombe.

She was airlifted to King's College Hospital, south-east London, following the incident, which happened at about 1555 BST, but later died.

The force has appealed for witnesses to contact officers.
