Drugs taken to Spean Bridge Commando Monument
A man's involvement in trafficking drugs worth £200,000 on the streets saw 396 grams (14 ounces) of cocaine taken to a war memorial, a court has heard.
Darren Williamson, described as a prisoner in Inverness, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine between June 2005 and December 2009.
The High Court in Edinburgh heard the 30-year-old had been the subject of police surveillance.
On one occasion drugs were taken to the Commando Monument in Lochaber.
Williamson had gone to the Royal Marines memorial at Spean Bridge where he met another man carrying a package.
The package was later found to be cocaine.
The court heard that Williamson was arrested in Dingwall.
Co-accused John Fisher, 27, Muir of Ord, admitted being concerned in the supply of cocaine last December.
Judge Lord Bannatyne deferred sentence on the men until next month for the preparation or reports.
