Two men were on the Skyjet bike when it crashed at Winchester Road in Sandy early on Saturday.
Damon Kitchener, 19, from Sandy was taken to Bedford South Wing hospital but pronounced dead an hour later.
An 18-year-old from Great Camborne in Cambridgeshire dislocated his shoulder. A police spokeswoman said it was not clear which of the men was the driver.
An inquest into the death has been opened and adjourned.
