Former NHL star Brooks Laich and Katrín Tanja Davíðsdóttir have said “I do.”

The pair tied the knot on Saturday, August 15, at their home in Idaho surrounded by more than 100 of their closest friends and family. The festivities started with a “vibrant and fun” welcome party, followed by a “timeless, elegant, classic” wedding ceremony before finishing off with a “fun and memorable” ‘50s-themed beach brunch.

“It was a dream come true for both of us,” Laich, 43, gushed to People in an interview published on Tuesday, August 18.

While exchanging their vows, Davíðsdóttir, 33, stunned in a sleeveless WONÁ Concept gown with a thigh-high slit while Laich looked dapper in a classic black tux.

The couple confirmed their romance in 2021, one year after Laich and Dancing With the Stars Julianne Hough announced they had split after three years of marriage. (Hough, now 38, filed divorce papers in 2020, with the proceedings finalized two years later.)

In 2024, Laich and Davíðsdóttir revealed their engagement and shared photos of the pair embracing at the time.

12.16.24 💍🤍♾️ Forever feels just right with you!” the lovebirds wrote via Instagram in a joint post.

Hough, for her part, shared a message of support in the comments section after the announcement.

“Congratulations 💍 I’m so happy for you both as you step into this beautiful new chapter together. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and endless adventures! ❤️✨,” she wrote, to which Laich replied, “Thank you for the kinds words, much love Jules!”

The next year, Laich and Davíðsdóttir announced that they were expecting their first child. The couple shared photos in coordinating outfits holding sonogram images at the time.

“Our greatest blessing 🤍🫶🏼✨ Baby Laich coming this fall. Mom & Dad can’t wait to meet you, our little one!!!!!!” the pair wrote via Instagram, to which Hough commented, “Congratulations you two on expanding your family – this baby is already so loved ✨.”

Laich and Davíðsdóttir welcomed their daughter, Emberly Heba Laich, in October 2025.

“Our hearts are overflowing with love as we welcome our daughter into this world. Becoming her parents has been the greatest gift we ever could have imagined – our precious, peaceful, powerful little girl who was born under the full supermoon!” the pair wrote via Instagram at the time, sharing black-and-white photos moments after their daughter’s arrival. “Our world is forever brighter with you in it, our Emberly ❤️.”
