From "Christmas with Robert Shaw," the annual mega-holiday concerts featuring the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, we go "Around the Christmas Tree," with selections from Tchaikovsky's "Nutcracker" interspersed with "The Boar's Head Carol (arr. Alice Parker-Robert Shaw), "Carol of the Bells," and two Robert Russell Bennett arrangements: "I Saw Three Ships" and "Deck the Hall." Also participating in the 400-musician extravaganza: the Morehouse College Glee Club, and the Gwinnett Young Singers. Robert Shaw conducts at the Woodruff Center in Atlanta.
