Funko Expands ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Pops! Line With Demon Saja Boys And SDCC Experience
Funko is expanding its "KPop Demon Hunters" Pop! line with new demon versions of the Saja Boys, launching as part of its new Pop! Mystery program at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con. "KPop Demon Hunters" is Netflix's Oscar-winning animated musical about K-pop groups, HUNTR/X (demon hunters) and Saja Boys (secret demons). The Saja Boys Pops! will be 4-inch blind box figures, retailing for $14.99, with a September release. The Pop! Mystery line offers a 1 in 6 chance for specific characters and a 1 in 72 for a Mystery Chase. A unique 1-of-1 Worldwide Chase figure includes a $10,000 buyback offer from Funko, verifiable via the Octane app. Fans can experience Pop! Mystery at SDCC by joining a virtual queue.
The KPop Demon Hunters Funko Pops! line will soon expand to include the demon versions of the Saja Boys as the company plans to launch its Pop! Mystery program at the 2026 San Diego Comic-Con.
KPop Demon Hunters, of course, is Netflix’s Oscar-winning worldwide animated movie musical sensation that debuted on the streaming platform on June 20, 2025. reThe film chronicles the K-pop singing trio HUNTR/X— which includes Rumi, Mira and Zoey— who moonlight as demon hunters. Also featured in the film is the K-pop singing group Saja Boys — Jinu, Mystery, Abby, Romance and Baby — who are concealing their identities as demons.
Earlier this year, Funko kicked off its KPop Demon Hunters Pops! line with 4-inch tall Pops! vinyl figures of Rumi, Mira, Zoey and then announced a second wave. Next up are Saja Boys Pops! in demon form that will be part of KPop Demon Hunters POP! Mystery line, which will be released in September, although an exact release date is to be determined. Each of the Demon Saja Boys Funko Pop! figures will retail for $14.99 and will be available on Funko’s retail page and at select retailers.
The new Demon Saja Boys Pops! are approximately 4 inches tall and will come in blind box packaging and will include a corresponding Pop! art card. Upon purchase, consumers will get a 1 in 6 chance for Demon Saja Boys characters Jinu, Abby, Baby, Mystery, Romance or Crying Demon, with a 1 in 72 chance of finding the Mystery Chase figure.
In addition, the line included a 1-of-1 Worldwide Chase figure in the KPop Demon Hunters Demon Saja Boys line. The lucky buyer will have the option of participating in Funko’s $10,000 Buyback Offer. The fan who discovers the 1-of-1 chase Pop! will be able to verify it through the Octane app, which is Funko’s official authentication platform. From there, the fan can choose to redeem the 1-of-1 chase Pop! and, upon verification and transfer of the collectible, Funko will purchase it for $10,000.
According to Funko, “Pop! Mystery is built around what makes collecting special: the anticipation, the surprise, and the chance that the next box could hold the ultimate one-of-a-kind prize.”
The 2026 San Diego Comic-Con, one of the world’s largest pop culture conventions that brings together fans of and celebrities from the world of movies, television, video games, animation, comics, toys and collectibles, is set for Thursday to Sunday, July 23-26, at the San Diego Convention Center.
Fans can experience KPop Demon Hunters Pop! Mystery for the first time at Funko's Booth at SDCC this year.
“To celebrate the upcoming launch of POP! Mystery, fans at SDCC are invited to experience our new collections in person,” Funko said in a press release. “Discover unexpected surprises, step into the mystery, and be among the first to celebrate this exciting new addition to the POP! lineup.
“Here's how to register for this can't-miss SDCC activity: First, find a buddy – you'll need a partner to experience POP! Mystery,” Funko added. “Next, you’ll join a virtual queue that will go live at 9 a.m. each morning of SDCC. Keep an eye on our socials or visit the Funko booth at SDCC for a link to register each morning! When your time slot appears, you'll get a text to return to the POP! Mystery line at the Funko booth (#5341) to start your adventure.”
Funko noted that the number of fans who are able to participate each day is limited, so keep an eye on Funko's social media platforms for the daily link to get in on the experience. The company also added that “joining the virtual POP! Mystery queue does not guarantee admission. Fans will be required to sign a release and liability waiver. Funko reserves the right to alter or close the queue at any time.”
