GB News paused their live coverage to address an update from the Princess of Wales. Presenters Stephen Dixon and Ellie Costello spoke to the former Royal Butler Grant Harold, who branded Kate "remarkable" on Monday. Catherine, the Princess of Wales, has completed the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of the hospital where she was treated for cancer, describing it as a "chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back".
On Sunday, she said she wanted to support "holistic healthcare" for people with cancer, describing it as a way to improve "wellbeing, resilience and quality of life during an exceptionally difficult time". It comes after the princess revealed she was having cancer treatment in 2024, and explained she was in remission in 2025.

"It's remarkable," Grant commented, "it was just announced last night that she had done this. It was quite a challenge. I think you have to walk 23 to 24 miles. You're climbing up to about 9,000ft. Travelling 500 miles. It's the three highest peaks in the UK. Scotland, England and Wales."
He continued: "I don't think the royals have done anything quite like this. And, of course, members of the Royal Family go through different military training but this is quite extraordinary.
I believe she is the first to achieve something like this."
The Princess of Wales climbed Britain's highest mountains in 24 hours for a cancer charity.
Ellie commented: "This would be a big challenge for normal people. But she has beaten cancer in the past two years. It's extrordinary."

Former Royal Butler Grant Harrold calls the Princess of Wales ‘remarkable’ for completing the three peak challenge across the UK.

"Many, many years ago, before she was a member of the Royal Family, she was a very keen runner," Grant recalled. "And quite often when I used to go and work at Highgrove at 7am she would already be out for a run."
He went on: "She is very fit and very athletic. That's why I was shocked when she did get the cancer, because she is one of the fittest royals that I know."
Grant opened up about his own mother losing her fight with cancer, who sadly died.
He commented: "Seeing the encouragement and support [Kate] gives people that are going through cancer. That are surviving cancer. That are fighting cancer, it's extraordinary."
Writing on social media, alongside a picture of herself at the summit of Ben Nevis, she said: "Cancer doesn't just affect the body. It changes how you think and feel and profoundly affects every aspect of life.
"I know this personally, and that the journey through and beyond treatment requires more than medicine alone."
At the completion of the challenge in Wales, the princess was met by members of her family including the Prince of Wales, her three children, George, Charlotte and Louis, her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, and her brother James.
Details of her cancer were not disclosed, but Kensington Palace said at the time it was confident the princess would make a full recovery.
