A three-year-old girl remains in hospital with serious head injuries after being hit by a car in York on Saturday evening.
A three-year-old girl remains in hospital with serious head injuries after she was hit by a car in York on Saturday evening, police said.
Officers were called by the ambulance service to Tower Street, near the Clifford's Tower landmark, at 20:44 BST, North Yorkshire Police said.
The incident involved a blue Volkswagen Golf, the force said, and caused the road to be closed until about 03:00 BST on Sunday.
