Finn Wittrock and Alexandra Daddario aim to hit a sweet spot with the trailer for the biopic movie Hershey.

Angel Studios releases filmmaker Mark Waters‘ film in theaters on Nov. 26, just in time for Thanksgiving. Wittrock stars as chocolatier Milton S. Hershey alongside Daddario as his wife, Catherine “Kitty” Hershey, in the movie that tells the origin story of the Hershey Company.

Hershey centers on the titular businessman’s efforts to launch his eponymous chocolate company after numerous failed attempts. Set between the early 1870s and late 1910s, the film spans nearly five decades in Milton S. Hershey’s life and also focuses on the couple’s dedication to philanthropy and supporting their community.

“Truth is, candy is not just my business,” Wittrock says in the trailer. “Candy is my obsession.”

Later, Daddario attempts to console him amid his struggles with finding the right recipe that will still allow the product to remain affordable. “Milton, you keep chasing perfection, when maybe you should be chasing magic,” she offers.

Waters (Freaky Friday, Mean Girls) helmed the movie from a script by Bubba Fulcher, Will Hardy and Timothy Michael Hayes. Alan Ruck, Richard Kind, David Costabile and Heléne Yorke round out the cast for the project that Angel Studios teased at this year’s CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Hershey filmed across 17 locations throughout Hershey’s home state of Pennsylvania and used thousands of pieces of chocolate for the shoot. The movie hails from Dandelion Media in collaboration with the Hershey Entities and in association with Aloe Entertainment, Peachtree Group and RCM3.
