In 2007, Dr Anastasia Sai completed her doctoral thesis, "Tamot: masculinities in transition in Papua New Guinea". Her thesis explored how men define their own masculinity as they are dealing with the changing roles of women in Papua New Guinea society. Dr Sai is interviewed by Heather Jarvis and they discuss the issues and findings that have come out of Dr Sai's research, such as women becoming more empowered and men feeling threatened by this.
