Emergency services are dealing with an incident at London St Pancras as the area is evacuated. Transport for London (TfL) Access confirmed that the main and north entrances to the station were closed while the Metropolitan Police dealt with an unattended vehicle.

The rest of the station is fully operational while this is being carried out. TfL Access wrote on X: "Main and North Entrance/Entry closed due to an unattended vehicle at the request of Metropolitan Police. Station remains in full operation."

The Metropolitan Police said it carried out a controlled explosion during the incident near St Pancras, and the unattended vehicle has since been declared non-suspicious.

Separately, there is no service on the Piccadilly Line today, tomorrow, and Thursday between Cockfosters and Uxbridge, impacting St Pancras. Trains will continue to operate between Acton Town and Heathrow.

Travellers have been urged to use Metropolitan Line services between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge and District Line trains between South Kensington and Ealing Common.

A video shared on social media captured the aftermath of the evacuation, with passengers standing outside the station next to a police cordon. A police van can also be seen.

EMR said in an update on its website: "Emergency services are on site investigate the problem, we have now been advertised that it is safe for customers to re-enter the station."

This comes after the TfL Access account on X said the station is fully operational while police deal with an unattended vehicle, and the two exits that had been closed have now reopened.
