Illegal migrants have been filmed shouting “this is the end of England” and tossing personal documents into the Channel moments before arriving on British shores.

The shocking footage, obtained exclusively by GB News, showed dozens of individuals making the 21-mile journey in a dinghy this morning.

A translation of the video indicated one man said: “London is finished, London is finished. Rozi Khan has finished London."

He then waved to the camera and mentioned a man named Ahmad, saying: “Bring him. Ahmad, bring him safely."

In another video, which appears to have been filmed aboard the same small boat, one man is heard saying: “This is the end of England.”

The boat appears packed with dozens of migrants, including some women and children.

Despite embarking on the 21-mile journey, they appear in good spirits, with many wearing life jackets.

Today’s striking footage comes as Labour attempts to get control of Britain’s migrant crisis.

Since the start of the year, 11,821 have made the treacherous crossing to Britain’s shores as of June 25.

The total number of illegal migrants who have arrived by small boats is 76,535 since Sir Keir Starmer entered office in July 2024.

Both Sir Keir and Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood have pledged to address the crisis, with mixed results.

Deals with France have seen some would-be crossers intercepted before taking to the water.

However, some people smugglers have moved operations elsewhere to avoid French patrols - with some as far as Belgium.

The Home Secretary yesterday announced plans that would compel asylum seekers to repay the cost of their state-funded support and accommodation.

However, this would only be required if the individuals can afford to do so.

The proposed Immigration and Asylum Bill would allow the Government to recover the cost of asylum support, including accommodation and subsistence payments, from adults who later have sufficient financial means.

Under the plans, those who meet the eligibility criteria would pay a fixed monthly charge once their income exceeds a set threshold.

Labour argued the scheme would ensure those who are able to contribute towards the cost of their support do so.

Ms Mahmood described the cost to the British taxpayer as “too high”, adding: “We have already reduced asylum costs by £1billion, but it is also right that we ask those who can contribute to do so.”

She continued: “Receiving asylum support is a right, but it is also a responsibility. Once people can contribute and repay the generosity of the British people, we expect them to do so.”

Asylum seekers are expected to have to pay a total of around £10,000, but Ms Mahmood will be able to adjust the amount, the Home Office said.

Statements made in the footage seen by GB News have been translated as accuratley as possible.
