India captain Shubman Gill retired hurt after suffering cramps in his right leg during India's chase of 259 in the first ODI against England at Edgbaston, Birmingham, on Tuesday.Gill was batting on 80 off 75 balls when he experienced discomfort in the 26th over of the innings. After facing a full delivery from Josh Tongue that beat the outside edge, the India skipper removed his gloves, crouched on the pitch and clutched the back of his right leg before deciding to walk off the field.The injury came just after Gill and Shreyas Iyer had added a 100-run partnership to put India in control of the chase.
