Last Week At The 14th Utrecht

Last week at the 14th Utrecht Early Music Festival in the Netherlands, the American ensemble Pomerium (formerly Pomerium Musices) had the honor of giving the festival's first concert. From that program, we'll hear the group, directed by Alexander Blachly, perform the madrigal "Mi vorrei trasformare" (mee VOH-ray trahs-fohr-MAH-ray—"I would like to transform myself") by Orazio Vecchi (oh-RAHTS-yoh VEK-kee) and the motet "Delitiae Phoebi" (day-LEE-see-yay FEE-bee—"The Delights of Phoebus") by Orlandus Lassus.
