Only one of the nation’s top 35 universities invited a conservative to speak at graduation in 2012, according to a new study.

The Young America’s Foundation, a conservative non-profit, found that liberal speakers outnumbered conservative speakers seven to one at the nation’s universities. CNS News reports:

Sixteen Obama administration officials and appointees will speak, more than all the conservatives combined.

Young America’s Foundation’s previous research shows that Bush administration officials spoke at the top 100 universities a total of 14 times throughout his Presidency. In President Obama’s first three years, administration officials have spoken 29 times—more than double the total number of Bush administration speeches.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius is among the controversial invitees. Georgetown University, the nation’s oldest Catholic and Jesuit University, will host the secretary despite her administration’s efforts to mandate that the Catholic Church pay for contraception.

Georgia colleges feature the most prominent conservative graduation speakers. Emory University, a top 20 school, will host 2008 Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Dr. Benjamin Carson, a prominent Obamacare opponent and doctor. Georgia’s Republican governor Nathan Deal will speak at the University of Georgia and Georgia Institute of Technology.

On Monday, President Obama spoke at Barnard College, a women’s college, reiterating his commitment to providing free birth control and advancing women in the workplace through increased regulation and litigation.
