A man has appeared in Guernsey Magistrate's Court charged with committing an act of gross indecency towards a 13-year-old girl.

The 49-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Rue des Longs Camps, St Saviours, last Wednesday.

The man, who has not been named, will appear again in the Magistrate's Court on 19 July.

Guernsey Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
