A 66-year-old man arrested on suspicion of attempting to murder a 73-year-old man in Suffolk has been released on bail.
The victim was found with multiple stab wounds to his neck, legs and body, and also head injuries, at Exmoor Road in Felixstowe on Saturday evening.
Police had received reports that he had been hit with a spade. He is now in a stable condition in hospital.
The man who was arrested is due to answer bail in July.
