A man has been charged with murder after the death of Isaac Clare-Watts at a summer solstice party.

The 26-year-old had just moved back to the UK from abroad when he was discovered dead at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle following a rave last Monday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at the Peak District beauty spot, sparking an investigation.

A 23-year-old man living in southeast London was arrested on Thursday over the death.

Szymon Babynko, who is originally from Poland, was charged with murder over the stone circle incident.

He has also been charged with attempted murder in relation to another in Hady Lane, Chesterfield, on Thursday.

Babynko remains in police custody and he is due to appear at Derby Magistrates’ Court today.

Mr Clare-Watts’s sister Jonimae told Metro the family were desperate for ravers at the party to come forward if they saw anything.

She said in a tribute to her brother, who was working for a building firm and planned to return to travelling: ‘It breaks our hearts to let you all know that Isaac, son and brother, was found dead on Monday morning.

‘We all know he was “Isaac the Wonder Boy” and that this will upset many. Contact is welcome but please understand we have no words or answers.’

Frank Goulding, a Nottinghamshire-based construction firm where the 26-year-old had started his career, said: ‘Isaac joined us as a young man in 2016 to pursue a career in construction. He successfully completed his joinery apprenticeship and developed into a very skilled joiner.

‘Isaac was a very popular member of our team and decided last year he wanted to take some time and go and see the world, in particular spending some time in Thailand to develop his Muay Thai skills, which was a passion of his.
