Man in hospital after being shot in Reading
A man was shot in Reading sustaining injuries to his arm and both legs.
Police were called to Grange Avenue where the 25-year-old local man was shot late on Sunday. He is said to be in a stable condition in hospital.
Ch Supt Chris Shead, from Thames Valley Police, did not believe it was a random attack but said the motive was unclear.
Grange Avenue has been sealed off while investigations are carried out. Police said they were putting "significant resources" into the inquiry.
