A man questioned by police about the disappearance of a woman from Norfolk has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder.

Emma Ward, 22, of Rockland St Peter near Attleborough, was reported missing on 24 May.

The re-arrest of the 28-year-old man follows new information that has come into the investigation team, police said.

Police said the information suggested she had come to "serious harm".

Anyone with information about Ms Ward's whereabouts is asked to contact police.

Det Ch Insp Neil Luckett said: "The main focus of the inquiry is to find Emma and find out exactly what has happened to her.

"Whilst it would be inappropriate to disclose the exact nature of our findings at this time, the information we have gathered suggests that Emma has come to serious harm."
