Martin talks to Andrew Lawrence-King of the Harp Consort about the impact of a recently rediscovered Spanish guide to Baroque harp playing, "Luz y Norte" (LOOTH ee NOHR-tay), which means "Lantern and North Star." The guide has radically altered harpists' understanding of Spanish practices in the 17th and 18th century and gives players a clearer understanding of the impact of music from Islam and Latin America, an impact audible in the Harp Consort's new CD, "Spanish Dances."
