Martin talks with William Trotter, the author of a new biography of conductor Dmitri Mitropoulos. He preceded Leonard Bernstein as music director of the New York Philharmonic during the 1950s and at the time of his death in 1960 was considered one of the great artists of the century. And yet 35 years later, Mitropoulos's achievements are largely forgotten. Trotter's new bio, called "Priest of Music," is published by Amadeus Press.
