I didn't grow up with family heirlooms, which is what makes the idea of creating my own that much more exciting. Jewellery, for me, has always been less about trends and more about curation — pieces you keep returning to until suddenly you have a collection that says something about who you are. Mejuri is where I've been building mine.

The brand has built a reputation for making elegant, high-quality fine and demi-fine jewellery feel genuinely attainable, offering solid gold, diamonds and beautifully considered designs at a far more accessible price point than traditional luxury houses. In this Mejuri review, I’m breaking down the collections, quality and best pieces worth investing in.

Mejuri’s newest drop draws inspiration from the tennis court and the athletes they’ve been working with, and it’s not hard to see why – there’s something magnetic about the focus of a backswing, the slide across the baseline and the quiet confidence of repetition and control. PLAY translates this into jewellery designed to move with you, whether you're courtside, in the stands, or just watching from the sofa with Wimbledon on in the background.

“There's a quality of presence that serious athletes have – this total inhabitation of their bodies that you can't really understand until you're watching it in person. That's what we wanted to capture. Less about tennis specifically and more about that woman,” says Noura Sakkijha, CEO and Co-Founder of Mejuri.

At its core, PLAY is defined by pieces that feel intentional yet almost weightless on the skin. “The pieces move the way she moves, and they're light enough that she can forget she has them on. It barely registers on the body, almost a second skin, which is part of what makes it so easy to wear through summer,” she adds.

The hero piece is the Tashi Drilled Diamond Necklace, and yes, the name is giving major Challengers energy. “We were inspired by women who play tennis. Challengers obviously gave the sport a lot of cultural momentum, but we were already seeing a shift before then. Customers wear fine jewels while living active lives, reaching for pieces that could move with them,” says Noura.

The diamond is drilled straight through and suspended from the smallest gold bail, with no setting or prongs – just the stone floating in light. It catches differently from every angle, which is the whole point. “You're looking at the diamond itself, and that's really where the value sits for us,” she adds.

For something lighter, the Swing Hoop Charm slips onto hoops you already own for a clean, single-diamond statement, while the Triple Set Hoop Charm stacks three for added movement and shine. Both transition effortlessly from courtside to dinner, designed to earn a permanent spot in your rotation.

And, of course, PLAY launches at a moment when Wimbledon is beginning to take over the social scene. “There’s an energy to that week that felt right to be part of – but we'd been working on this long before we looked at the calendar. What's been happening with tennis culturally is bigger than any single tournament. It's moved away from being this exclusive thing and toward something that feels genuinely relevant to women who are active, ambitious and living fully.”

An understated, slinky dress paired with bold bangles and statement earrings is one of my go-to date-night formulas – and the sculptural, organically curved design of Mejuri’s Dôme collection delivers exactly that kind of main-character energy. Softly rounded yet undeniably maximalist, these pieces feel modern without being trend-led, designed to elevate even the simplest outfit.

At the heart of the collection is the Dôme ring, Mejuri’s best-selling piece and a cult favourite for good reason. Its chunky, high-shine silhouette looks far more expensive than it is, making it one of those rare jewellery purchases that instantly justifies the hype.

Now over a year into wearing my Dôme ring consistently, I can confidently say the high-shine finish holds up remarkably well with regular wear. Minor surface scratches are inevitable with sterling silver, but a quick polish restores the mirror-like finish instantly - something I always factor in when investing in sculptural pieces.

Whether you’re a gold girlie or prefer cooler silver tones, the collection’s cohesive design language makes mixing metals feel intentional rather than experimental. My personal favourites are the Dôme drop earrings and cuff bracelet in sterling silver.

The Dôme collection is ideal for anyone drawn to bold, sculptural jewellery that still feels wearable and refined. It suits those building a modern jewellery wardrobe, experimenting with mixed metals, or investing in statement staples at an accessible price point. If your style is polished with a hint of edge, and you want jewellery that feels current yet enduring, the Dôme pieces are an easy, confidence-boosting choice.

Following my engagement, I wanted to balance out my hand with pieces that felt equally intentional. On Valentine’s Day, I gifted myself the Pavé Diamond X Ring – which constantly sells out! Crafted in solid 14k gold and set with pavé natural diamonds in an overlapping X design, it strikes a balance between modern and timeless.

What makes it especially meaningful is the symbolism I’ve attached to it. With Scottish-Jamaican heritage, the intersecting design echoes both flags – and paired with the fact it was a gift to myself, it’s become a piece I’ll always associate with independence and intention.

For 2026 brides, Mejuri’s diamond jewellery is made for “I do” moments. The diamond eternity ring is a beautiful wedding or engagement band, set with round brilliant-cut natural diamonds in 14k white or yellow gold – while a classic tennis bracelet adds an elegant detail on the day itself.

Mejuri uses 94% traceable, responsibly sourced natural diamonds, typically graded G–H–I in colour and SI–I in clarity for maximum brilliance. All pieces are set in durable 14k gold made from 94% recycled materials. The brand also holds Positive Luxury’s Butterfly Mark, reflecting its commitment to high ethical and sustainability standards.

If you’re shopping for the perfect gift – or a justifiable treat for yourself – Mejuri’s best sellers make it very easy.

The standout for me is the lab-grown sapphire huggie hoops, available in 18k gold vermeil or sterling silver. They’re subtle enough for everyday wear to work or school, yet polished enough to transition seamlessly into cocktails or dinner.

Personalised jewellery is another area where Mejuri really excels. The Mejuri diamond letter necklace is a modern classic and can be worn traditionally on a chain or clipped onto an earring for a more styled, personalised look. For astrology girlies, the birthstone necklace is ultra-dainty and perfect for layering with other chains.
