A spokeswoman from Avon and Somerset Constabulary said Thelma Townsend, 62, had returned to her home in Withywood, Bristol on Friday morning.
She had been missing since Saturday and Britain's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell had urged her to contact someone.
Mrs Townsend and her husband appeared on the ITV programme last year with their whistling and dancing act.
