Coastguard rescuers used mobile phone technology to find a man who was seriously injured after falling 60ft (18m) down a cliff in Cornwall.
The man called for help, but was cut off before he could say where he was.
He had broken both legs and suffered spinal injuries at Tye Rock, Porthleven, on Friday.
A Falmouth coastguard spokesman said: "His mobile phone had given us an idea of where he was so we had a pretty good clue."
He was airlifted by rescue helicopter from RNAS Culdrose to the Royal Cornwall Hospital near Truro.
A cliff rescue team from Porthleven also took part in the rescue which was co-ordinated by Falmouth coastguards.
