Morton Gould is a composer who's had a lot to do with helping people in his line of work get compensated. From 1986 to 1994, he was president of ASCAP, the organization that licenses compositions to radio and TV stations and other users. Conductor Gerard Schwarz and the Seattle Symphony have just released a new CD called "The Music of Morton Gould." From that disc, we'll hear the Air and Rondo from Gould's Concerto Grosso for Four Violins and Orchestra (from Balanchine's ballet "Audubon"). (Delos DE 3166)
