Motorcyclist killed in Shifnal crash

A motorcyclist has died in a collision involving a car in Shropshire.

The man was confirmed dead at the scene after the ambulance service was called to Haughton Road, Shifnal, shortly before 1305 BST.

A woman who was driving the car was not injured, an ambulance service spokeswoman said.

The spokeswoman added: "Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of ambulance crews, nothing could be done to save the man."
