A man has been charged with murder following the death of a man after an incident in an Edinburgh flat.
The 47-year-old died after being stabbed in Stenhouse Gardens North at about 2200 BST on Wednesday.
A 48-year-old man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday charged with murder.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said the stabbing happened in a ground floor flat. The stairwell of the flat had to be sealed off.
In a separate incident, a 38-year-old woman was injured in a hit-and-run incident in the same street at about 2130 BST.
The woman was taken to the ERI for treatment on minor injuries to her back, arms and mouth.
