A public consultation into whether two Northamptonshire schools should merge has started.
The county council wants to merge Hayway Infant and Nursery School and Denfield Park Junior School in Rushden into one primary school.
If the plan goes ahead the nursery school site would close and pupils relocated to the Denfield Park buildings, which would be extended.
The council said the move would be completed next April.
Members of the public are being asked for their views.
Anyone who would like to comment can visit the website for more information or fill in a form.
The consultation period will end on 23 July.
