Official charged with fraud at Prince Charles' charity
A former official at a health charity founded by the Prince of Wales has been charged with fraud, Scotland Yard said.
The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health stopped its operations in April after the arrest of senior official George Gray, of Cricklewood, London.
Mr Gray, 50, faces two counts of theft totalling £253,000 - one charge of fraud by abuse of position and another of money laundering.
Mr Gray will appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on 14 June.
He was arrested by officers investigating allegations of financial irregularities.
The planned closure of the foundation was brought forward as a result of the police inquiry.
The foundation was set up by the prince in 1993 to "encourage the development of a 'whole person' approach to health".
The charity has worked with complementary healthcare professions towards self-regulation in the industry.
