We remember the days when Kate Middleton, better known as Catherine, Princess of Wales, and Prince William made those historic announcements that they welcomed their children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. We remember those days so well, and it seems like they’re going up so dang fast. In fact, one of the Wales kids is already nearly as tall as Kate!

In case you missed it, the Prince and Princess of Wales account shared a compilation video to Instagram with the caption reading, “Honouring Service and Sacrifice Marking Armed Forces Day by reflecting on time spent with the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at RAF Coningsby. Learning about the extraordinary history of these aircraft and meeting the pilots and engineers who keep their legacy alive. A powerful reminder of the courage, skill and dedication of those who serve, past and present. Thank you to all those who have served and continue to serve.”

As you can see in the video, George is already almost as tall as his mom at only 12 years old! (For reference, Kate is 5 feet 9 inches!)

Seriously, where has the time gone?! We already knew that George is his papa, Prince William’s mini-me, but now he’s gearing up to be as tall as him in no time as well! (William is 6 feet and 3 inches.)

This super-rare mother-son outing proves that he’s ready to go fully into his royal duties, and that he is growing up so fast!
