Pedestrian dies after accident in Nottingham
Police are appealing for witnesses after a 61-year-old pedestrian died following a collision with a taxi in Nottingham.
The woman was walking across the pedestrian crossing in Alfreton Road, at the junction with Gregory Boulevard, just after 0100 BST on Sunday when the accident happened.
The 25-year-old taxi driver and his female passenger were not injured.
Police have asked any witnesses or anyone with information to call them.
