A pensioner is being treated in hospital after being attacked and robbed in County Armagh in the early hours of Saturday morning.

He was set upon by four men as he was cycling through Lurgan to his home at about 0100 BST.

It is understood that the 66-year-old suffered several broken bones in the attack.

Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information about what happened to contact them.
