Plans for a wind farm of up to six turbines in Bradford are set to be revealed.

Banks Development is looking at building the farm, which would produce up to 15MW of renewable electricity a year, on moorland near Denholme.

A public consultation is being held and people are being asked to give their views at an exhibition on 15 June at Denholme Mechanics Institute.

The site is 2km (1.2 miles) away from the existing Ovenden Moor wind farm.

Banks Development said a number of ecological and site assessments were to be carried out and depending on the outcome, final plans could be submitted to Bradford Council in 2011.

Phil Dyke, managing director of Banks Renewable, said: "Feedback from local people plays an important part in shaping all the proposals that we put forward."
