Police have named a motorcyclist who was killed on the Isle of Man's Mountain Road.
Mathew Evans, 29, from Shrewsbury, died in a crash at the Mountain Box at about 0800 BST on Friday.
Police said his Honda Fireblade went out of control as it negotiated a series of bends, before leaving the road and crashing in some fields.
It is not known if any other vehicles were involved and Isle of Man police have appealed for witnesses.
Det Insp Stephen said: "It is very sad that a person has lost his life.
"We are still investigating the cause of the collision and many lines of enquiry are continuing."
